TREES HELP OFFSET CARBON DIOXIDE

Trees utilize carbon dioxide (CO2) as a resource in their growth, rooting, photosynthesis, and reproductive systems. They need carbon dioxide - much like we need oxygen. Because trees consume this greenhouse gas as a necessary nutrient in order to thrive, they essentially act like large air filters and are therefore incredibly beneficial for our environment. In fact, trees convert carbon dioxide and release oxygen in its place, which brings us to our next point.
TREES CREATE OXYGEN
We can think of trees as being the lungs of our planet. Trees create the air we breathe and filter air pollution. Planting more trees is one of the best things we can do for our local environment and our planet.
