We love limes in our food and our drinks! They can add a little zing and zest to many of our favorite recipes. Limes have a high acid content and tartness, and this helps to make limes a powerful cooking ingredient for a wide range of dishes!

Use limes in cocktails, desserts, and meat dishes to enhance the flavor. All it takes is a squeeze of lime or a sprinkling of lime zest to add a little zing! The Bearss lime is the most widely used and a favorite for recipes. We like to use them in recipes because their thin green rind is super easy to squeeze! Easy squeezing makes it a breeze to apply lime flavor to a variety of recipes. How do you like to use limes?

Make San Diego Grilled Chicken: Southern California offers perfect barbecue weather. This is a sweet and sour chicken recipe – SoCal style. You will need two limes, zested and juiced.
