We were excited to have been asked to be a part of their event by donating trees and shrubs for the silent charity auction that took place over the weekend. Our nursery professional, Kim, at North Hollywood, did an amazing job helping St. Monica Catholic Church pick out the best plant materials for the event.
Once the material was decided on, Moon Valley Nurseries officially donated one Crape myrtle tree, three beautiful rose bushes, and two Electric Pink Cordylines to help raise funds. On top of the donations, we also donated more trees to help add decor to the event (pictured to the left). This event was such a huge success - exceeding $500,000 in donations!

What is the S.M.A.S.H. Gala?
It is a wonderful night of fun with a silent auction, grand dinner, and tributes all night long. This event helps the church raise money to make a difference for hardworking students who perform over 20,000 hours of community service per year and has been going on for almost 30 years.
The proceeds from this event will go to helping fund scholarships and financial aid for need-based students that attend St. Monica Catholic schools.
