What is Earth Day?
Earth Day is an annual event that we celebrate to bring awareness and support for environmental protection across the globe. This day was founded in 1970 by a Wisconsin Senator, and later the Governor of Wisconsin, Gaylord Nelson. He later went on to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his work focused on environmental issues.
