Moon Valley Nurseries has been growing trees for decades and we love knowing that we are making such a big difference in our communities because of all our trees from our farms to the nurseries to the ones planted in our customers homes!

Earth Day has been celebrated on April 22nd for the last 49 years, since 1970! It is recognized and celebrated in almost 200 countries across the world.

What is Earth Day?

Earth Day is an annual event that we celebrate to bring awareness and support for environmental protection across the globe. This day was founded in 1970 by a Wisconsin Senator, and later the Governor of Wisconsin, Gaylord Nelson. He later went on to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his work focused on environmental issues.
